President ‑ The President shall preside at all meetings of the Board of Directors and members. The President serves as the main liaison between Andover and the pool management company under contract. He/she shall perform such other duties as customarily pertain to the office of president, or as he/she may be directed to perform by the Board.

First Vice President ‑ The First Vice President shall have and exercise all the powers, authority and duties of the president during his/her absence or inability to act. He/she shall also act as assistant to the president and perform such other functions as he/she may be directed to perform by the Board. The First Vice President shall be responsible, in addition to other duties, to work closely with the President in establishing meeting agendas and correspondence with members.

Second Vice President ‑ The Second Vice President shall preside at the Board of Directors meetings in the event the First Vice President is, for whatever reason, unable to preside, and shall act for the vice‑president at other times when the vice‑president is unable to act. The Second Vice President responsibilities include oversight of Member Splash functionality, weekly email communications to members, the Snack Bar POS system, and electronic payment options.

Treasurer –  The Treasurer shall have custody of all funds, securities, valuable paper and other intangible assets of the corporation. He/she shall provide and maintain full and complete records of all the assets and liabilities of the corporation. He/she shall prepare and submit to the Board of Directors a monthly finance report. He/she shall prepare and submit to the Board of Directors a financial statement of the condition of the corporation as of the last day of the current year. He/she shall prepare such tax reports as local, state and federal agencies may require, and he/she shall perform such other duties as customarily pertain to the office of the treasurer.

Secretary ‑ The Secretary shall prepare and maintain full minutes of all meetings of the memberships and the Board of Directors, including complete election returns. He/she shall give proper notice of all meetings and conduct correspondence of the corporation. He/she shall maintain a record of the membership of the corporation and he/she shall perform such other duties as customarily pertain the office of secretary, including posts on Facebook, creation and printing of agenda for meetings, and maintenance of documents on Andover’s Google drive.

Director of Swim – The Director of Swim shall be responsible for coordinating all swim team activities, including practices, meets and fundraising.

Director of Tennis – The Director of Tennis is responsible for overseeing all tennis and pickleball related programs and operations at Andover, including scheduling matches and events for all age and skill levels. They work directly with the junior tennis team coach to organize programming for Andover’s participation in the PVJTL (Patapsco Valley Junior Tennis League). They also manage the maintenance and readiness of the tennis courts to keep the courts safe and playable.

Director of Social – The Director of Social is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of events for pool members of all ages during the summer season. Duties include identifying and organizing appropriate activities, collaborating with lifeguard staff and facility management to ensure the smooth operation of on-site events, and providing support to other committee chairs for pool-related functions. Specific responsibilities include securing food vendors and musical entertainment, coordinating themed events, and fostering an engaging and inclusive social environment for all members.

Director of Finance – The Director of Finance shall complete and submit all State and Federal tax forms on behalf of Andover and assist the Treasurer as deemed necessary.

Director of Operations – The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repairs of the Andover buildings, fencing and recreational structures. The Director of Operations shall identify any tasks deemed too complex or time consuming to be completed in-house and contact the necessary contractor(s) to complete such tasks. This position is supported by a committee of members with general repair skills.

Director of Membership – The Director of Membership shall maintain the Andover waiting list, notify prospective members of their membership offer status, and assist with onboarding new members, ensuring they satisfy all documentation requirements.

Director of Bylaws – The Director of Bylaws shall assist with the interpretation of and revise all Andover bylaws and rules as necessary.
